Uh, Joe? While Dick Cheney has been a pretty dangerous VP, has he really been the MOST dangerous?
I think Alexander Hamilton would politely disagree.

I have to side with Joe on this- I don't think Cheney should get a pass just because he is not as good as Burr. I don't know if Harry Whitington would be willing to side with you either. I don't think you get extra points for incompetence.
How do you know he was not trying and this is not just one more thing he screwed up? I still say you don't get brownie points for incompetence- unless, of course, you are "heck of a job, Brownie".
We will simply have to agree to disagree, as I am not willing to give the title to Burr simply because he was more competent. I am betting that, on close examination, you will find Cheney has a much longer resume of qualifying actions and decisions that should be taken into account.

All I'm saying is, Cheney didn't actually kill the person he shot.

EXACTLY. You don't get points for trying! Burr succeeded; he gets the title.
